Zambia

A safari in Zambia is like taking a step back in time to an almost undiscovered part of Africa, which remains unspoiled by mass tourism. Zambia is the ideal place to recapture the essence of the “real” Africa.

Bordering on Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls can be experienced from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia side, staying at one of the lodges upstream from the Falls. Two or three days chilling out at either at the start or end of your safari is highly recommended!

The “Valley of the Elephants”, or the South Luangwa Valley as it is more commonly known, is a must for any visit to Zambia. Mobile walking safaris are run by professional guides, and small personalised camps are the base for seeking large herds of elephant, night sightings of leopard and a rich variety of game and birdlife.

The Lower Zambezi National Park borders onto the Zambezi River, looking directly across to Mana Pools in Zimbabwe. This must be one of the prettiest parks in Africa, an area of abundant wildlife which can be viewed by 4WD, on foot, or by canoeing on the Zambezi…no skill required.
