Selous, Ruaha & Zanzibar - 14 days

Dar Es Salaam/ Selous :: Sand Rivers Lodge, Selous – 4 Days
Set on a sweeping curve of the great Rufiji River this lodge is small, but perfectly formed! Game viewing is by 4WD, on foot or on the river, giving guests the very best opportunity to see the variety this park can offer. For the more adventurous, fly camping offers the outdoor experience of a lifetime. Mosquito nets laid out on the sand banks or nearby a busy waterhole. Of course, you might just choose to loll by the pool, iced cocktail in hand, but it is unlikely!
Selous/Ruaha :: Mwagusi Safari Camp, Ruaha - 3 Days
A rustic owner-run camp on the banks of the Mwagusi Sand River in Ruaha National Park. Wildlife regularly seen within close proximity of the camp include elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, hippo, crocodile, sable and roan antelope, greater and lesser kudu, bushbuck, hunting-dog and large herds of buffalo. Walking safaris , accompanied by an experienced guide, or viewing by vehicle without the disturbance of lots of other vehicles is one of the main attractions .
Ruaha/Zanzibar :: Matemwe Retreat, Zanzibar - 5 Days
Matemwe Retreat, on the north-west side of the island is perfect for snorkelling and diving or just lolling on the beach. The Retreat consists of 3 fabulous, separate villas. Bedrooms are air-conditioned and the large romantic bathtub overlooks the Indian Ocean. The best part of each villa is the plunge pool on the private roof terrace, complete with sun and shade decks.
Seafood is the speciality of the house, with all produce bought daily from the local markets or the fishermen on the beach. (Optional last night in Stonetown)
